Mar 23,  · Broken Window – The only song on the album Taylor can call his own doesn’t stray at all from the rest of the pack. The simple drum machine beat probably doesn’t do “Broken Window” any favors for the discriminating musician but Taylor uses it to his advantage. 9.

Andy Taylor came after he left the group DD with the anthemic "Take it easy" but he only had 2 or 3 songs on the soundtrack (American Anthem). He later released Thunder and pretty much followed the same line. The difference from the soundtrack and Thunder is that on this CD he goes much much deeper on the rhythm and the solos/5(38).

Former Duran Duran six-stringer Andy Taylor ignites his solo career with a big bang boom on the rumble tumble "I Might Lie," a blistering lighting storm which rips the riff from "Beat It." Sex Pistol-packing journeyman Steve Jones helps Taylor keep these proceedings crisp and classicistic: saving the LP from drowning in an '80s morass of mechanized drums and ubiquitous keys, while focusing on.
