Jul 10,  · When I asked who it was, I was surprised to find out it was The Pillbugs, a band which one of the members was a forum resident here. The CD was Monclovia and I snagged it and at least one other by them immediately. Only other time I remember this happening was when a local record shop was playing a CD by Arcwelder.

We had lots of fun with them. Their music was more akin to ours than any of the other groups too. The Grip Weeds were great too. That drummer was one of the best I've ever raitiligargchissiteccujudxuarake.xyzinfovia is a sweet CD too. A very interesting slant on the bugs. The different mastering brings new elements out of the songs. Great graphics work by Mr. Bob Tibbitts.

You don't really want your kids bopping around the house to Morrissey and Elliott Smith. They can shoegaze during their teen years. Roger Day's new CD, Dream Big!, is just so darn cheerful that you can't help but smile.5/5(7).

The swirling ‘Paint Me Happy’ is a bouncy psyche-pop gem akin to Two Sheds Jackson and the slower Lennonesque ‘Lying Through Your Lipstick’ is very much like The Pillbugs. Each song is a sonic sugar rush for fans for ELO, Pilot, Klaatu and similar late-era Beatles-influenced bands.

The second Pillbugs CD "The 3-Dimensional In-Popcycle Dream" (originally another double set) was completed in early
